Kentucky Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    2 tsp. cinnamon or 1 tsp. nutmeg and 1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
    4 egg whites, beaten stiffly
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in order, except nuts and egg whites. Beat well.
    Add nuts and fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour into an ungreased tube pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
    Let cool in pan.
    Turn onto platter.
