Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tall angel food cake (ready made or mix)
1 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 c. hot water
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 pt. frozen strawberries, thawed
a few fresh strawberries
Preparation

Cut the top 1/3 of the cake off and set aside.
Make a tunnel in the large ring of cake by removing some of the cake in the center ring.
Save the cake crumbs.
Dissolve the Jell-O in the hot water.
Add the strawberries, cake crumbs and 1/2 of the Cool Whip to this mixture; mix thoroughly and refrigerate until mushy.
Pour this mixture into the tunnel and left over, pour into the center hole.
Place the top on the cake and ice with the remaining Cool Whip.
Garnish with fresh strawberries.
Keep cake refrigerated.
