Apple-Walnut Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
4 thinly sliced pared apples
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 well beaten egg
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. margarine, melted
Preparation

Mix sugar, cinnamon and 1 1/2 cups walnuts.
Place sliced apples in bottom of greased 11 x 8-inch pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.
Sift dry ingredients.
Combine egg, milk and margarine and add dry ingredients all at once.
Mix until smooth. Pour over apples and sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
Bake for 50 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream to which cinnamon has been added.
