Miss Ann'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. butter
    6 eggs (room temperature)
    3 c. cake four
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat sugar into softened butter.
    Add eggs, one at a time, still beating.
    Add flour, whipped cream and vanilla gradually and gently.
    Pour into greased and floured loaf pan and sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool.
    Remove from pan. Serve with fruit and vanilla ice cream.
