Banana Cake With Coconut Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 very ripe medium bananas, sliced
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. granulated sugar, divided
    1 tsp. each: double-acting baking powder, vanilla extract and imitation butter flavoring
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. shredded coconut
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray 8-inch round cake pan or 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
