Kate Smith Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. bran flakes, crushed
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
1/3 c. bran flakes, crushed
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine egg, melted butter and milk.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Stir into batter. Add 1 cup bran flakes.
Spread into a greased 8-inch baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl to make topping. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 22 minutes. Serve warm.
Makes 6 servings.
