Sherried Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. white raisins
2 lb. candied pineapple
2 lb. candied cherries
2 lb. pecans
1 lb. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
1 lb. flour (4 1/2 c.)
9 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. milk
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. sherry
Preparation

Cut fruit and nuts into small pieces.
Use 1 1/2 cups sifted flour to coat fruit.
Melt butter and add sugar.
Mix until thoroughly blended.
Add eggs, one at a time.
