Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. small yellow squash
    1 large jar pimentos
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. chopped peppers
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 onions, chopped
Preparation
    Place squash in salted water and let stand 1 hour.
    Drain; set aside.
    Combine in large container the sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add other ingredients and let come to a boil again.
    Put into jars and seal.
