Hobnobs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg white
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Beat one egg white until fluffy.
    Beat in 1 cup light brown sugar.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in pecan halves. Cover nuts well.
    Place pecans on well-greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cut off oven and leave in oven for 30 minutes.
    Do not open oven.
    (May be made with roasted peanuts.) Break in pieces.
