Michigan Hot Dog Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. vinegar
4 Tbsp. brown sugar
8 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
6 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt to taste
2 c. catsup
1 lb. hamburg
Preparation

Cook onions in butter until soft.
Add remaining ingredients in order; crumble hamburg in sauce and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until hamburg is cooked.
Chop raw sweet onion to sprinkle on top of sauce after you put it on your hot dog.
This sauce freezes well or keeps almost indefinitly in your refrigerator.
