Russian Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head green cabbage
    1/2 head red cabbage
    1 large onion
    1 bell pepper
    1 large carrot
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. Crisco oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cut up all vegetables and set aside.
    Mix the remaining ingredients; let boil 1 minute.
    Pour over cabbage mixture and let sit in refrigerator in covered dish for 24 hours.
    Slaw will keep for 30 days.
