Chicken Marengo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can tomato soup
1 can mushroom soup
3 Tbsp. oil
3 lb. chicken parts, salt and peppered
1 lb. small onions, quartered
1 medium clove garlic, minced
salt to taste
Preparation

In Dutch oven, brown chicken in oil.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover when it begins cooking, turn to low and cook 45 minutes or until tender.
Using handles of Dutch oven, shake now and then.
Serve over rice.
Makes 6 servings.
