Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 chicken breasts
    1/2 c. sweet vermouth
    3 bay leaves
    1 tsp. dried whole thyme
    1 tsp. dried whole oregano
    1 large onion
    1/2 tsp. each pepper and salt
    3 to 4 garlic cloves
    2 medium green peppers, sliced
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimento
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, sliced (undrained)
    8 oz. pkg. fresh mushrooms
Preparation
    Saut boned chicken breasts in 1 tablespoon oil. Stir in all the rest of the ingredients (except green peppers). Simmer about 20 to 30 minutes; add peppers and cook about 10 minutes more. Thicken with flour and water, if needed.
