Bagels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/4 to 4 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
1 gal. water
Preparation
-
In a mixing
bowl,
combine 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast. Combine water,
3 tablespoons sugar and salt.
Pour over flour mixture.
Beat
with
electric
mixer
on
low for 30 seconds, scraping bowl.
Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
Stir in as much remaining flour as you can mix with a spoon.
