Deep Fried Camembert Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

Camembert cheese, cold (fresh or canned)
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 c. fine bread crumbs
oil to 1 1/2-inch depth in pan
Preparation

The cheese must be cold.
Cut Camembert into small wedges. Lightly coat wedges in flour.
Dip each wedge in slightly beaten eggs and coat in bread crumbs, then refrigerate.
Cheese can be prepared several hours before frying.
Fry until golden in very hot cooking oil for about 1 1/2 minutes.
Drain briefly on paper towels.
Serve hot as cocktail snack or as a light dessert with toast and your favorite jam.
