Ham Jambalaya Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 lb. cooked ham, cut in julienne strips
    1/2 c. tomato juice
    few drops of Tabasco sauce
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Saute green pepper, celery, onion and garlic in hot oil in 10-inch skillet until tender (do not brown). Add tomato sauce and chili powder. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Stir in ham, tomato juice and Tabasco sauce. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Serve over rice. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
