German Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 apples, cut in slices
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
2 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. orange juice
1 c. walnuts, cut up
4 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Sprinkle 5 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon over apples and set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, eggs, cooking oil, vanilla and orange juice, then add baking powder, baking soda and walnuts.
Mix all by hand.
Batter is too thick for electric beater.
Grease and flour Bundt pan.
Alternate batter and apples.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
