Crab Cakes, Casserole Or Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. crab meat (2 c.)
    1 tsp. grated cheese
    onion
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    juice of 1/2 lemon (large)
    5 saltines, crumbled (use more to stiffen)
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Make white sauce using butter, flour and milk.
    Let cool.
    Add egg, mayonnaise, salt, pepper to taste, chives, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and cayenne pepper.
    Add crumbs; fold in crab meat carefully.
    Make cakes and brown in shortening.
    If put in casserole, make white sauce thinner or double number of cracker crumbs.
    Bake casserole 20 to 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Dip made same as casserole.
