P.J.'S Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
granulated sugar
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients and set aside.
Beat shortening until creamy.
Add sugar gradually, then egg and molasses.
When mixed, gradually add in flour mixture.
Make balls of mixture, then roll in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Tops will be slightly rounded and crackly.
