Hot Chili(Texas Style) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, diced
1/2 lb. chorizo sausage
6 slices bacon
4 medium onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
2 pickled jalapeno peppers, rinsed, seeded and chopped
2 whole jalapeno peppers
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 can (18 oz.) tomato paste
2 1/2 c. water
additional water as needed for drinking purposes
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
Set the bacon aside and brown the chorizo sausage in the same pan.
Drain the sausage, reserving 2 tablespoons of the drippings and add to the bacon; set aside.
Add the sirloin beef, garlic, green pepper and onions to the reserved drippings and brown.
Transfer to large saucepan. Add bacon, sausage and remaining ingredients.
Bring to a slow boil; simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes about 1/2 gallon.
