Peanut Butter Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Cook to hard ball stage.
    Pour over 2 stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Beat until stiff enough to roll out on board.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Spread peanut butter to cover.
    Roll and cut in 1-inch pieces.
    Chill in refrigerator before cutting.
