20-Minute Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
    3/4 c. barbecue sauce
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook bacon over low heat until crisp, turning occasionally.
    Remove from skillet and drain.
    Remove all but 2 tablespoons drippings from skillet.
    Add onion, bell pepper and garlic.
    Cook and stir over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes or until tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Crumble bacon; return to skillet.
    Cover and cook 5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
