4 eggs
1 c. sugar (scant)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder (scant)
Preparation

Using mixer, beat eggs and sugar until almost white and frothy.
By hand, fold in flour and baking powder.
Pour into prepared spring-form pan (greased and dusted with breadcrumbs). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool and then remove from pan. Split with breadknife into 2 layers.
