Fruit Jiffy Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. soft margarine (1 small tub)
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 can your choice of pie filling (cherry, apple, blueberry, etc.)
Preparation

Beat first three ingredients until well blended.
Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
Add flour and beat until fluffy. Pour 3/4 of batter into a well-greased rectangular pan (9 x 13-inch).
Spread on pie filling.
Make a lattice top with the remaining batter.
Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cake is cool.
