Potato Planks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. potatoes (3 medium)
    vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with skins on until tender; cut lengthwise into eighths.
    Set oven to broil.
    Place potatoes, cut side down, in ungreased jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch).
    Brush with oil.
    Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle potatoes with half the mixture.
    Broil potatoes about 3 inches from heat until potatoes begin to bubble slightly, about 10 minutes.
    Turn; brush with oil and sprinkle with remaining salt mixture.
    Broil until golden brown and tender, about 5 minutes longer.
