Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. fresh broccoli heads, packed tightly
1/2 c. butter
3 c. warm milk
2 c. hot chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 to 3 tsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
2 c. half and half
3 egg yolks
Preparation

Wash broccoli; trim and dry.
In pan, cook broccoli in butter until soft.
Blend in flour and simmer until smooth and bubbly. Add next 8 ingredients.
Stir constantly until thick and smooth. Remove and blend (may be frozen at this point with the cream and egg yolks added later).
Stir in cream and bring just to a boil. Beat yolks and add a small amount of soup mix to it.
Return it all to the pot and serve.
