Everlasting Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. All Bran
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. Bran Buds
Preparation
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 cup Bran.
    Cream Crisco with sugar.
    Beat in eggs, buttermilk and soaked Bran.
    Sift and add the flour, soda, salt and Bran Buds.
    Raisins or nuts are optional. Store in glass jar and refrigerate.
    Will keep up to 6 months. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
