Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef (cut for stew)
    1 stalk celery, cut up
    6 carrots, cut up
    1 onion, cut up
    6 potatoes, cut in quarters
    1 can beef consomme
    1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
    4 Tbsp. tapioca
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put all ingredients into a heavy pan or casserole with tight cover.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
