Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    homemade or frozen pie crust
    2 lb. Vidalia onions, sliced
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sour cream
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    dash of cayenne
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until crisp, but not tender.
    Cream sour cream with eggs, salt, pepper and cayenne.
    Mix with onions and pour into crust.
    Top with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake another 20 minutes, until brown.
