Glorified Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 onion, chopped fine
    3/4 stick oleo
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    bread crumbs
    salt and red pepper to taste
    parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Chop cabbage fine and boil until very tender in salted water; drain. Wilt onion in oleo. When wilted, add cheese in hunks and allow to melt over low heat.
    When melted, add soup.
    Blend. Add cabbage and mix well.
    Add about 1/2 cup bread crumbs and parsley. Season to taste.
    Put in greased 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes. Serves about 8.
