Simple Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chopped steak or tenderloin
    3 to 4 large carrots, chopped
    4 to 5 potatoes, chopped
    3 to 4 stalks celery
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown beef in bacon grease.
    Chop veggies in large pieces and add to the meat in a large Dutch oven. Add bay leaf and 2 cups water. Cook 1 to 2 hours or until tender.
