Peanut Brittle(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. salted peanuts (Planters)
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place sugar, corn syrup and water in 2-quart casserole.
    Cook on High in microwave (750 watts) 5 minutes.
    Stir.
    Add peanuts. Continue on High 13 to 15 minutes or until syrup separates into threads.
    Stir in melted butter, baking soda and vanilla just until light and bubbly.
    Pour into cookie sheet (Teflon coated). Spread.
    Cool for approximately 1 hour and break into pieces. Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
