Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 deep dish pie crust
    3 firm tomatoes, thickly sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. chives
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook pie shell according to directions.
    Put a layer of sliced tomatoes on bottom; sprinkle with salt and pepper, basil and chives.
    Layer again.
    Combine mayonnaise and cheese and spread on top, sealing all edges.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
