Never Fail Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Scald milk, salt and sugar until it beads.
Pour over eggs; add vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until firm and knife comes out clean.
Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired.
