Time-Saver Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1 c. water
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift flour and sugar in a large bowl.
In a pan, bring to a boil the butter, cocoa, shortening and water.
Pour over flour mixture and beat.
Add eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and buttermilk with soda added. Beat well and pour into a greased baking pan (9 x 13 x 2-inch). Bake at 375\u00b0 until cake springs back when touched, about 45 minutes.
