Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. 100% Bran cereal, soaked in 2 c. buttermilk until moist
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. All-Bran cereal, soaked in 1 c. boiling water until moist
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Add bran cereal soaked in buttermilk.
    Sift flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add bran cereal soaked in boiling water.
    Pour in raisins.
