Microwave Mashed Potato Favorite - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 to 1 c. milk
    1/3 c. margarine, cut in pieces
    1/2 to 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
    chopped onion to taste
    1 tsp. salt
    paprika
Preparation
    Combine potatoes and water in 2-quart microwave-safe casserole.
    Cover with lid.
    Microwave on High for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring 2 to 3 times. Drain.
    Mash until smooth.
    Beat in milk until desired consistency.
    Mix in butter until melted.
    Stir in cottage cheese, onion and salt.
    Spoon into 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole or serving bowl.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Cover with casserole lid or overturned plate.
    Microwave on High for 7 to 8 minutes or until heated through (160\u00b0).
