Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. chopped, raw apples
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (more if you like)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix salad oil, eggs and sugar with a wooden spoon, then beat until creamy.
    Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder and add gradually to batter and beat well.
    Add vanilla, then chopped apples and pecans.
    Mix and pour into well-greased 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
