Key Lime Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
3 eggs, separated
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1/2 c. ReaLime juice
few drops green food coloring (optional)
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In medium mixing bowl, beat egg yolks. Stir in Eagle Brand, ReaLime and food coloring, if desired.
Pour into pie shell.
In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, but not dry.
Spread on top of pie, sealing carefully to edge of shell.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
Chill thoroughly.
