English Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. margarine
1 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter (margarine) in saucepan. Add brown sugar and milk. Heat to a boiling point, stirring constantly. Boil gently 5 minutes, while stirring. Cool 10 minutes.
Blend in powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until it is ready to spread.
