Corn Bread Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. water
    1 extra large egg or 2 medium ones, lightly beaten
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Grease muffin pans or an 8-inch skillet.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In medium mixing bowl, sift together corn meal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
    Add buttermilk and water; stir until smooth.
    Stir in egg and oil, just until all ingredients are blended.
    Do not overbeat.
