Fudge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
    4 eggs
    3 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Over low heat or in double boiler, melt butter and chocolate squares.
    Meanwhile, beat eggs until light in separate mixing bowl. Add corn syrup, sugar, salt and vanilla to eggs and continue beating until mixed well.
    Add the slightly cooled chocolate mixture, mix thoroughly and pour into a 9-inch pastry lined pie pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is crusty and filling is set, still somewhat soft inside.
    Do not overcook. Serve plain or with whipped topping or ice cream.
