Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat egg and mix lightly with the remaining ingredients. Drain a (No. 2 1/2) can fruit cocktail and add to the previous ingredients and then put into a square baking pan.
Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup nuts and 1/2 cup brown sugar; bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
