Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken hen
3 c. flour
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten until blended
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Boil hen until tender. Debone the hen. Put aside. Mix the ingredients until blended well. Make dough stiff. Roll out on floured surface until thin. Cut and drop in hot broth. Keep broth boiling until all dumplings have been dropped in. Put the deboned hen back in the pot with the dumplings. Turn fire down and put the lid on. Cook until done.
