Apple Pie In A Jar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    10 c. water
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    7 qt. peeled and sliced apples
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients.
    Heat until bubbly.
    Add lemon juice.
    Pack apples in quart jars.
    Pour hot syrup over apples and seal.
    Water bath for 25 minutes, or pressure 10 minutes on 10 pounds pressure.
