Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 3/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. ginger
    4 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. molasses
Preparation
    Measure and sift together the first 5 ingredients; set aside. Cream together the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and molasses. Stir in dry ingredients; blend well.
    Form teaspoon size dough balls by rolling lightly between palms of hands.
    Roll dough in granulated sugar to cover surface.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, or until tops are slightly rounded, crackly and lightly browned.
