"Northern Italian Marinara Gravy" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 gloves (large) garlic
    1 onion (small), chopped
    3 Tbsp. olive oil (optional)
    1 large can (blue can) Tutto Rosa crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    dash of pepper
    2 to 3 tsp. Locatelli cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 oz. heavy whipping cream or half and half
    1 lb. pasta (choice)
Preparation
    Brown 4 cloves of garlic and chopped onion in oil.
    Remove after browning.
    Pour tomatoes, parsley flakes, pepper, salt and cheese into hot oil.
    Chop the other clove of garlic and stir.
