Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water plus 2 Tbsp.
3 egg whites
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Mix cornstarch and water and place in microwave.
Cook until clear, about 3 minutes on Medium-high.
Cool.
Beat egg whites (room temperature) until foamy.
Gradually add a tablespoon of sugar at a time.
Turn mixer to lower speed and gradually add cornstarch mixture (cooled).
Turn mixer to high speed and beat well.
Spread meringue over cooled pie filling.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 to 15 minutes.
