Raspberry Roll - cooking recipe

2 1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water plus 2/3 c. water
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. melted butter
4 c. raspberries
Preparation

Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1 1/2 cups water; cook 5 minutes. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
