Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. shortening
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk; stir only until dry ingredients are moist.
    Roll out 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Cook on sheet at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    May be frozen after cutting and baked as needed.
